Living La Vida London: Day 17

My first full day back in London was utterly uneventful. Seriously.

My professor is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met; he remembered that I collect coins and went home and got some of his coins from his coin collection to bring back for me. I was very touched that he would remember something like that. I'm definitely telling SUU to invite him to speak at our school because he's kind of one of the best people I know. So I went to class, went back to my dorm room, and then decided that I needed to actually go and do something. I went to the largest bookshop in Europe called Waterstones. I loved it and was glad that I ventured out to see it.
It's six floors of books and the place where many authors go to have book signings and various events. It also used to be a department store called Simpsons and also the backdrop for Are You Being Served.

On my way back to the dorms after riding a packed Tube car full of tourists and smelly men, I ran into some of my friends returning from dinner and decided to tag along with them. I was hungry so I got some wonderful cookie gelato and sea salt with balsamic vinegar chips (crisps, as they're called here) and we finally headed back to the dorms. We all decided to hang out in Megan's room and we ended up sitting there watching videos on YouTube and talking about different things. I also almost cried because I was reminded of how hilarious this video is:
I love Kristen Wiig.

Today was an overall nice day after the fast pace of Paris. Tomorrow will probably contain more pictures and interesting events, but this what I have for today!
